Today, I read a great blog post about showing appreciation to clients. I was so inspired by it that I immediately contacted 2 of my clients who have really needed some extra support lately.
Do you thank your clients for coming into class with great energy? Do you thank your clients just for showing up? What about thanking them for doing a great job and showing a lot of improvement?
I always try to spend a few moments at the end or beginning of class to connect with clients with some casual conversation and sometimes make a point of thanking them for coming to class. I do this mostly because I like to show gratitude for the people/things in my life. I also do this because I want my clients to feel that their efforts to change their bodies are worth it.
I recently thanked a handful of clients who've sent client referrals to me in my newsletter. I also like to send personal emails when I can to individuals who are trying to reach a specific goal. I like to do anything I can to let them know that I support their efforts and notice their achievements. I think people like this. I know I like it when someone notices me!
In this post I read this morning, the trainer made personalized videos for his clients, which I think is fabulous. Imagine getting an email from your trainer with a special message just for you. How motivating is that? To me, this is a priceless, easy form of support you can give clients who need that extra push.
What do you do to support and thank your clients? How can you give a client that extra bit of motivation he/she may need? How do you think this type of easy-to-give support will affect your pilates business?
I'd love to hear what you do for your clients.
Have a great day. :)
